Latin American and Latinx Studies Symposium

LALSS 2022

We are thrilled to host the 2022 Latin American Latinx Studies Symposium. The symposium will be held in person on Friday April, 8, 2022 at the nearby Alfond Inn.  The Latin American and Caribbean Studies program at Rollins College organizes the Latin American Latinx Studies Symposium. Undergraduate students will share their research on domestic and foreign issues concerning Latin America and the Latinx population.

Register

Registration for the 2022 Latin American Latinx Studies Symposium is open. There is no cost to attend the symposium. Participants will be responsible for their own travel and lodging accommodations. All participants must register to attend the event.
Registration will include breakfast, lunch and an evening reception on Friday, April 8, 2022.  We look forward to seeing you at the Symposium.

Submit a Proposal

The Latin American and Latinx Studies symposium is a multi- and inter-disciplinary undergraduate research conference highlighting original research and creative projects conducted during the preceding year by undergraduate students. Undergraduate papers on any topic relevant to Latin American Studies may be accepted: politics and culture, the global economy, literature, the environment, public health, gender, and art, for example.

Papers may be presented in Spanish, English, or Portuguese.
